Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Lima

• Your Peruvian adventure begins upon arrival in Lima, the vibrant capital overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A dedicated representative will welcome you at the airport and assist with your private transfer to the hotel.
• The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore the lively Miraflores district at your leisure.

Day 2 – Lima: The City of Kings

• Begin your exploration with a guided visit to the archaeological complex of Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Incan ceremonial pyramid located in the heart of modern Lima.
• Continue to the historic center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the elegant Plaza de Armas surrounded by grand colonial buildings, including the Cathedral of Lima, Government Palace, and Archbishop’s Palace.
• Visit the Cathedral, home to the tomb of Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro, before exploring the Convent of Santo Domingo, renowned for its beautiful Sevillian ceramic tiles and centuries of history.

Day 3 – Lima to Arequipa

• "After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, the 'White City,' famous for its stunning volcanic stone architecture.
• Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy traditional coca and muña tea, commonly used to help travelers adapt to the altitude.

Day 4 – Journey to Colca Canyon

• Depart early for a scenic drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Andean highlands toward the Colca Valley.
• En route, pass through the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you may spot alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas roaming across the plains. Continue to the Patapampa Andes viewpoint at nearly 4,900 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of snow-capped volcanoes including Sabancaya, Ampato, and Hualca Hualca.
• Arrive in the charming town of Chivay, the gateway to Colca Canyon. The afternoon is free to explore or relax in the nearby La Calera hot springs.

Day 5 – Condors of Colca and Transfer to Puno

Day 6 – Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island

• Today, embark on a full-day boat excursion across Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
• Visit Taquile Island, home to an indigenous community renowned for its intricate textile traditions recognized by UNESCO. Here, men traditionally weave while women spin yarn.
• Later, continue to the extraordinary floating islands of the Uros people. Constructed entirely from totora reeds, these unique islands offer insight into one of the world’s most fascinating traditional cultures.

Day 7 – Scenic Journey from Puno to Cusco

• Travel by scenic route through the Andes from Puno to Cusco, with several fascinating stops along the way.
• Visit the Pukara Lithic Museum to learn about ancient Andean cultures, continue to La Raya Pass—the highest point on the route—and explore the archaeological complex of Raqchi, home to the impressive Temple of the God Wiracocha.
• Your journey concludes in Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire.

Day 8 – Cusco City Tour

• Discover the remarkable cultural heritage of Cusco on a guided city tour.

Day 9 – Sacred Valley of the Incas

Day 10 – Train to Aguas Calientes

Day 11 – Machu Picch

Day 12 – Cusco to the Amazon Rainforest

• Start your journey from The Andes to the Amazon Basin with a flight to Puerto Maldonado.
• Travel by boat along the Tambopata River to your eco-lodge located deep within the rainforest. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk to the Canopy tower for some spectacular views over the vast jungle landscape.

Day 13 – Amazon Wildlife Exploration
